Elsa Polycarpe

Hi and welcome to our page!

I’m Elsa Polycarpe! I’m originally from France, but I grew up in Hong Kong and used to wonder how my parents could get up so early to run in the mountains. Now that I’m back here on my own after studying law and public affairs in Paris, it’s my turn to be an early bird and chase the trails.

I’ve danced, swum, and played rugby, but after a knee injury and an operation, I couldn’t find a sport that felt safe for me. That’s when I discovered trail running. It helped me recover and gave me an entirely new set of amazing sensations, views, and, most importantly, a wonderful community.

I joined Asia Trail Girls not long after returning to Hong Kong, and to me it’s one of the best communities to run with: fierce women from all backgrounds, all uplifting each other!
